Our reflection on the Royal Wedding

Almost a month on since the second Royal Wedding this year, it’s safe to say it did not disappoint.

Last month the world watched as Princess Eugenie tied the knot with her sweetheart Jack Brooksbank at Windsor Castle. After all the hustle and bustle of the big event calmed down, we couldn’t help but share out favourite highlights with you...

1. HRH The Duke of York breaking protocol by making a speech Contrary to Royal Protocol, rumor has it HRH Prince Andrew couldn’t help but make that proud Father of the Bride speech. Being one of the best parts of the wedding, where the proudest man in the room welcomes the Groom into the family HRH didn’t disappoint.

2. Golden monograms on the wedding cake A beautifully decorated 5 tier cake representing the rich colors of Autumn. What we love the most about this cake is the E and J gold monograms etched around the base layer making this cake very in season and representing Eugenie's tastes of keeping up with the trends. We’ve seen a huge rise in requests for monograms over the past year or so, and we’re sure the rise will continue after the Royals couples example.

3. The evening gown A change of attire throughout the day is becoming more popular as the options are so vast, we’re finding many of us stuck to make a decision! Although both Kate and Meghan changed dressed for the evening reception, Princess Eugenie change of dress subtly broke the tradition. Rather than an English designer the Princess opted for an American designer. The most noticeable difference however, was rather than white or ivory, the dress was the blush pink of an English rose.

The wedding has left a lasting impression over the Globe. You would think we must be all Wedding’d out with two Royal weddings this year? Trust is, we can’t wait for the next one!
